@DanAcneOrg : ok, I got my AHA and it burns.. I think I’m putting too much on and plus I’m not doing it gently,,,

when I use BP I smear it on my face but there are also some white spots of BP that won’t smear in and just sticks on my face

nothing wrong, it’s just that 2.5% works the same and irritates less, but 10% is just fine bro!

  4. AnaFelixPires says:

“Wait 5-15 minutes for your skin to dry. Do not rinse off the benzoyl peroxide. Once it is applied, you will leave it on the skin.”

A few questions… Is the BP completely absorbed by the skin then, and you just apply your moisturizer once it’s dry? Is it okay to wash your face in between BP and moisturizer? Because I like the Diadermine one I’m using now, but am a bit afraid of putting it over the BP, in case it reacts badly or something.

    @evan274
Check out the FAQ section on Acne. org. It explains why 2.5% is better than 10%.
I couldn’t post a direct link (used “dot”), but check that out. It explains why 2.5% is better than 10%.

    whats wrong with 10%?

  7. DanAcneOrg says:

@JuzDotA I don’t see how this would happen, and in our experience it clears the acne, it doesn’t spread it.

@BradyXFace BP does have the potential to bleach hair and fabrics, although we don’t get a lot of complaints about it.

Is that gonna bleach my eyebrows and make them fall out?

  10. JuzDotA says:

some people feel that this will ‘spread the acne’ around the face if you do that… What’s your take on that?

  11. Robinscott1 says:

how did it go? how many times a day did u apply it?

  12. xparfum says:

  13. Dpiiiius says:

i used a lot of acne products before so do i have to start with a small dosage of bp still?

  14. Dpiiiius says:

    the vid cut

  15. beautyissimple says:

Prolonged use of BP is not good for you. Go holistic!

I’m using jimmy rigged products in place of Dan’s for my “regimen.” Murad’s Clarifying Cleanser (from their acne complex), Epiduo (2.5% bp + 0.1% adapalene) along with a Murad moisturizer. Have to see how it works.

did anyone notice his glasses come and go at about 16 seconds? weird hes cool though

  19. li0nhearts says:

Hey can i still use the bp after my pimples are gone? Though i know they will come bacck once a while
Actually my conditions are not that worse, its just some pimples popping on my nose and chin area frequently.

  20. DanAcneOrg says:

You can use 5%, but you may experience more dryness than you would with a 2.5% bp. But do not use anything stronger than that for the Regimen.

  21. DanAcneOrg says:

We’ve observed that using generous amounts of bp twice daily usually gives people the best results. You can certainly ask your derm about it if you are unsure. Cream based bp’s do sometimes leave a residue. If your moisturizer and massaging it in well doesn’t take care of it, you may want to try Dan’s gel. It dries clear. As for your cleanser, Dan likes to use a gentle unmedicated cleanser.
    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the video. I use a 5% benzoyl peroxide cream so i’m wondering if the results will be the same???

  23. maxo405 says:

hey! thx for everything but i have a doubt…i use an aquose based benzoyl peroxide gel, and after i apply it after some time i see that instead of being colorless it goes white, is it because im not spreading it enough? and also, my derm told me to use the benzoil once a day.if i use it twice, will it affect me? and when is it better, night or day to apply it? one last thing hehe, does washing with non-grease soap work??thx a whooole lot :)

  24. DanAcneOrg says:

This happens sometimes in the beginning of the Regimen. If it continues past a few weeks, you may want to try a different moisturizer.
